We now have 16 beavers in Motcombe, myself Janet Odell is the leader and there is a faithful band of parent helpers. We are working towards 2 badges the Olympic and the Jubilee. We have made healthy crown sandwiches, practised sporting activites that last 60 seconds, made crown jigsaws and rubbings of the Queen’s  initials on letterboxes. We have enjoyed getting to know new people and have played lots of games.

Our Beaver Colony returns this Thursday, the 13th September, 5-45 until 7pm at the Memorial Hall, Motcombe.

Our weekly Cub Pack meetings return on Tuesday 11th September, 6-30pm at the Memorial Hall. New prospective Cubs always welcome!!

Cubs has now finished for the Summer.
We will be away on Summer Camp near Corfe Castle from the 18th to the 25th August, and return to our Tuesday evening Pack meetings, at Motcombe Memorial Hall, on the 11th September.

Our annual Rounders Evening will take place on Thursday evening, 17th July. All welcome, Cubs, siblings, friends & family!!  BBQ & refreshments.

This term we are working towards our Communicator’s Badge. We have used  walkie talkies to take down messages, and will be having some practical fun, learning about Semaphore & Morse Code.
 
We are looking forward to our St. George’s Sleepover & Parade, and are really excited about our week long Summer Camp in August.
 
We are quite a small Cub pack at the moment and would love to hear from boys & girls aged from 8 years to 10 and a half to join the Cub Scout Adventure!
